Biography
Dr Talal Farha is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician who completed his training in Oxford and holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Paediatrics. He has worked at several leading UK hospitals, including Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital Manchester, John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford, and Taunton & Somerset NHS Trust. Since relocating to Dubai in 2010, he has led the Paediatrics Department at Mediclinic City Hospital and was instrumental in establishing their neonatal intensive care unit.
Dr Farha joined Somerset Clinic in 2012 and provides comprehensive paediatric care, from routine check-ups to complex medical conditions. He has a particular interest in paediatric cardiology and frequently collaborates with renowned international heart centres for the management of congenital and acquired heart conditions in children. He also provides consultant-led inpatient care at Parkview Hospital.

Dr Sam Hassan is a Senior Consultant and Associate Professor of Paediatric Medicine with over 40 years of international experience. He has treated more than 100,000 children, spanning a broad range of childhood and neonatal conditions. His training includes distinguished institutions in the UK, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and The Royal Naval Hospital. Prior to moving to Dubai in 2011, he served as a Consultant Paediatrician in London.
Dr Sam has a rich academic background, including a PhD in Clinical Paediatrics from the University of Glasgow, and has published over 70 research papers. He is actively involved in medical education and has held teaching roles at multiple UK universities. His philosophy centres around collaborative care between doctors, parents, and schools to promote the health and wellbeing of children globally.

Dr Abdelhadi (Dr Hadi) is a Consultant Neonatologist with over 25 years of specialised experience in neonatal intensive care. He spent 20 of those years as a consultant in tertiary-level neonatal units across the UK, including Chelsea & Westminster, South Manchester, Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, and Royal Victoria Hospital.
He is highly skilled in advanced respiratory support techniques for newborns, including high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and non-invasive modalities. He also provides expert care for premature infants, neurological complications at birth, and antenatal counselling for expectant parents.

Dr Samy Darwish is a highly qualified Oral Surgeon with advanced training from top UK institutions. He graduated from Guy’s Hospital London in 1997 and holds multiple postgraduate qualifications, including a Diploma in Dental Sedation, an MSc with research into dental implants, a Postgraduate MClinDent in Periodontology, and a Master’s in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Dr Samy combines technical excellence with a warm, caring approach. In addition to clinical practice, he teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.
